Olie på lærred was applied by the painter as the medium of the piece of art. Today, this artwork is included in the Belvedere's digital samling i Wien, Østrig. Med høflighed af © Belvedere, Wien, inventarnummer: 5616 (offentligt domæne licens). The creditline of the artwork is: purchase from art dealer Elisabeth Orssich, Rodaun in 1963. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait with a side ratio of 1 : 1.4, which means that længden er 29 % kortere end bredden. Eduard Ritter von Engerth was a painter, whose style can mainly be classified as Romanticism. The artist was born in 1818 in Pless / Pszczyna, Silesia, Poland and died at the age of 79 i året 1897.
