18th århundrede maleriet er lavet af mand Fransk maler Hubert Robert in 1788. The original creation was made with the absolute size of 255 × 222,9 cm (100 7/8 × 87 3/4 in). Olie på lærred was used by the artist as the technique for the piece of art. "H. ROBERT / IN ÆDIBUS / MEREVILLÆ / PRO / D. DE LABORDE / PINXIT / A.D. 1788. (lower center, on statue pedestal)" was the masterpiece's inscription. Today, the artpiece can be viewed in in the digital collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. The classic art masterpiece, which is in the offentlige domæne is supplied with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. The creditline of the artwork is: Gift of Richard T. Crane. Moreover, alignment is portrait with an image ratio of 1: 1.2, hvilket betyder det længden er 20 % kortere end bredden. The curator, painter Hubert Robert was a European artist, whose style can be attributed primarily to Rococo. The European painter lived for 75 years and was born in 1733 i Paris, Ile-de-France, Frankrig og døde i år 1808 i Paris, Ile-de-France, Frankrig.
