Saint Bernard, the standing monk seen on the left interior wing, was a reformer of the Cistercian order and a fervent proponent of the cult of Mary. In this triptych he gathers with his family around the throne of the Virgin. The altarpiece was commissioned by Jeanne de Boubais, abbess of the Cistercian convent of Flines, who appears in the central panel in the guise of Saint Bernard's sister, Humbeline, and for this reason wears the black Benedictine habit. Painted in grisaille on the exterior is Bernard's vision of the Virgin, who miraculously wet the saint's lips with her milk.

Bestil materialet efter eget valg
Til hvert kunsttryk tilbyder vi en række forskellige størrelser og materialer. Du kan vælge din foretrukne størrelse og materiale blandt følgende muligheder:
- Aluminium dibond print (metal): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the excellent start to art reproductions with aluminum. This UV print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely stylish way to display artworks, as it draws focus on the image.
- Akryl glas print: The print on acrylic glass, often described as a fine art print on plexiglass, will convert your favorite original work of art into amazing home décor and is a good alternative option to dibond or canvas fine art replicas. The work of art is custom-made with modern UV direct print technology. It creates intense, stunning color tones. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and artwork details will be more recognizeable with the help of the precise tonal gradation in the print.
- Plakattrykket (lærredsmateriale): The poster is a printed canvas with a slightly roughened surface texture, that reminds the original work of art. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm around the painting in order to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- Lærred print: A UV printed canvas stretched on a wood stretcher frame. A canvas of your favorite work of art will provide you with the opportunity to turn your individual fine art print into a large collection piece. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.

Vigtigt: We try everything in order to depict our products as clearly as possible and to display them visually on the various product detail pages. However, the pigments of the printed materials, as well as the printing might differ marginally from the representation on the screen. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed 100% realistically. Considering that all our art reproductions are processed and printed by hand, there may also be minor differences in the motif's exact position and the size.
