Oil on canvas was applied by the French artist as the medium of the painting. Inscribed lower right: G. Courbet '68 was the masterpiece's inscription. The artpiece is part of the Art Institute Chicago art collection, which is located in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. With courtesy of Art Institute Chicago (public domain). The creditline of the artpiece is the following: Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Morris I. Kaplan.
