Sylvia Church Weston Sampson was made by Rufus Hathaway in 1793. The artpiece was made with the size: 38 1/8 x 25 1/8 in (96,8 x 63,8 cm) framed: 43 1/2 x 30 1/2 x 2 1/4 in (110,5 x 77,5 x 5,7 cm). Olie på lærred was used by the painter as the medium of the painting. Furthermore, this work of art can be viewed in in the art collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. The public domain artpiece is included with courtesy of Yale University Art Gallery. The creditline of the artwork is the following: Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Peter M. Brant.
