Materiale muligheder

The product dropdown menu provides you with the opportunity to choose the size and materialaccording to your preferences. In order match your personal requirements perfectly, you can choose among the following product customization options:

  • Lærredsprintet: The printed canvas, not to be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is a digital replica printed from an industrial printer. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.
  • Poster (lærredsmateriale): The poster print is a printed flat canvas paper with a slight surface finish. The poster print is ideally suited for placing the art copy with the help of a special frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the artwork, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Akrylglasprint (med ægte glasbelægning): An print on acrylic glass, which is often described as a an art print on plexiglass, will convert your favorite original into amazing décor. Your favorite work of art is custom-made with modern UV print technology. Our plexiglass protects your custom art print against light and external influences for between 40-60 years.
  • Aluminiumstryk (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an impressive effect of depth. Its non-reflective surface structure creates a modern impression. For the Direct Aluminium Dibond print, we print your selected artpiece on the surface of the white-primed aluminum. The bright and white parts of the artpiece shine with a silky gloss but without any glow. The colors are luminous, the fine details of the print appear crisp and clear, and there’s a matte look that you can literally feel.

Legal disclaimer: We try what we can to depict our products as clearly as possible and to showcase them visually in our shop. However, the tone of the printed materials and the imprint may differ somehwat from the representation on your device's screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, not all color pigments are printed 100% realistically. Because all art prints are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight variations in the size and exact position of the motif.

Yderligere information fra museet (© Copyright - J. Paul Getty Museum - J. Paul Getty-museet)

In this allegory of the status of the artist and the nature of his profession, a male artist instructs two pupils: a young boy and a fashionably dressed young woman. A plaster cast of a sculpture of a nude male seems to be the object of the day's exercise in how to draw, but the studio is filled with many other props and materials.

On the table are pens, brushes, charcoal pencils, and a woodcut depicting the head of an old man. Several plaster casts hang from a shelf that supports a sculpture of an ox, the symbol of Saint Luke, the patron saint of painters. A plaster putto is suspended from the ceiling in front of a tapestry, which is draped to reveal an easel with a painting and a violin hung on the wall. In the foreground a stretched canvas leans on a chest heaped with a bound album and a carpet. Objects related to the traditional theme of vanitas (vanity), a frequent subject of Dutch still lifes, are piled in the lower right corner. These items--a laurel wreath, a skull, wine, a fur muff, a book, a lute, and a pipe--remind viewers of the brevity of life and fame.
