In 1856 Thomas Couture painted the artwork. The version of the artwork was painted with the size uindrammet: 78,4 x 41,9 cm (30 7/8 x 16 1/2 tommer) indrammet: 96 x 60 cm (37 13/16 x 23 5/8 tommer). Olie på lærred was used by the European artist as the technique for the painting. Nowadays, this work of art is part of the Yale University Art Gallery digital art collection located in New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America.
