In 1790 Hendrik Willem Schweickhardt malede maleriet. Det 230 year old original version of the artwork measures the size of højde: 31,3 cm bredde: 42,3 cm | højde: 12,3 i bredde: 16,7 in. Oil on panel was used by the artist as the medium of the piece of art. Signed: W. Schweick[hardt] is the artpiece's original inscription. Nowadays, the work of art can be viewed in in the collection of Mauritshuis. This classic art public domain piece of art is being provided with courtesy of Mauritshuis, Haag. The creditline of the artwork is: Carter Collection, London, 24 December 1790 (purchased from the artist for 600 guilders, together with three other paintings); W.A. van Heun, The Hague; his sale, The Hague, 20 October 1884 (Lugt 44244), no. 20 (for 20 guilders to des Tombe); Arnoldus Andries des Tombe, The Hague, 1884-1903 (on long-term loan to the Mauritshuis, since 1884); bequest of Arnoldus Andries des Tombe, The Hague, 1903; on long-term loan to the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (inv. no. On top of that, alignment is in landskab format med et forhold på 4: 3, hvilket betyder, at længden er 33 % længere end bredden.
