The 280 year old original version of the painting measures the size - højde: 58,1 cm bredde: 74,7 cm | højde: 22,9 i bredde: 29,4 in og blev malet med teknikken af pastel, gouache på papir på lærred. Mesterværket har følgende inskription: signeret og dateret: C. Troost / 1740. Nowadays, this work of art can be viewed in in the collection of Mauritshuis. The actor, painter Cornelis Troost was a European artist, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Baroque. The Dutch painter lived for 54 år og blev født i 1696 og døde i 1750.
