"Pefroen and the Sheep's Head" is a painting painted by the male Hollandsk maler Cornelis Troost. The over 280 year-old original was painted with the size: height: 64 cm width: 52,1 cm | height: 25,2 in width: 20,5 in and was painted on the medium pastel, gouache on paper on canvas. Signed and dated: C. Troost 1739 is the artwork's inscription. It forms part of the Mauritshuis collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. We are glad to state that this masterpiece, which is part of the offentlige domæne er forsynet med høflighed Mauritshuis, Haag. Besides, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has an image ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that længden er 20 % kortere end bredden. The actor, painter Cornelis Troost was a European artist, whose art style can primarily be assigned to Baroque. The Baroque artist lived for a total of 54 år - født i året 1696 og døde i 1750.
