A. v. de Velden 1776signed, dated and inscription: A: Schouman del 1776 / naar 't Schildery van Ad: vande Velden / berustende in't Kabinet van Zyne hoogheid Willem de 5e, Prins van Oranjeinscription: Gezicht by Middagten en Dieren aan den Yzel; Hoog 13¼ dm / Breed 16¾ duim" is the masterpiece's inscription. What is more, this piece of art is part of the art collection of Mauritshuis. With courtesy of - Mauritshuis, Haag (licenseret: public domain). Also, the artwork has the creditline: Commissioned by Cornelis Ploos van Amstel, Amsterdam, 1776; acquired before 1931; on long-term loan to the Rijksprentenkabinet, Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (inv. no. RP-T-2006-152), since 2006. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landskab format og har et sideforhold på 1.2 : 1, hvilket betyder at længden er 20 % længere end bredden. Aert Schouman was a male engraver, painter, etcher, watercolourist, whose style can be classified as Baroque. The European artist was born in 1710 and died at the age of 82 i 1792.
